Does it cost anything to sign up?
No. Creating a Leader Study Pro account is free and needs nothing more than an email address — no card details and no payment. You only pay if and when you choose to enrol on a qualification pathway.
Do I have to choose a qualification when I create my account?
No. You can create your account first, explore the learner portal and unit guidance, and choose which qualification and pathway to enrol on later from inside your dashboard.
Can I start with an Award and move up to a higher qualification?
Yes. You can upgrade from an Award to a Certificate, Diploma or Extended Diploma at any time from the enrolment page in your dashboard. You pay only the difference between what you have already paid and the higher pathway price, and your completed units, evidence and assessor feedback carry over.
Is there any subscription or ongoing fee?
No. Enrolment is a one-time price per pathway, inclusive of UK VAT. There is no monthly subscription and no charge for holding an account.
How much does ILM Level 3 cost?
ILM Level 3 costs £449 for the Award, £949 for the Certificate, £1,299 for the Diploma and £1,599 for the Extended Diploma, inclusive of UK VAT. That is a one-time all-in enrolment price covering the learner portal, unit guidance, portfolio assessment, assessor feedback, ILM registration and certification fees, with no separate awarding-body fee.
How much does ILM Level 5 cost?
ILM Level 5 costs £695 for the Award, £1,149 for the Certificate, £1,595 for the Diploma and £1,895 for the Extended Diploma, inclusive of UK VAT, as a one-time all-in enrolment price covering ILM registration and certification fees with no separate awarding-body fee. Level 5 costs more than Level 3 at every pathway size because the units are more demanding and the total qualification time is longer.
Are ILM registration fees included in the price?
Yes. The listed one-time enrolment price includes ILM registration and certification fees, as well as UK VAT. There is no separate awarding-body fee to pay.
Why is the Extended Diploma so much more than the Award?
Price follows size. An Award is the smallest pathway — one mandatory unit plus at least one optional unit — while an Extended Diploma covers the full mandatory unit set, so it carries several times the credits, guided learning hours and assessment volume.
Is Level 5 worth the extra cost over Level 3?
It depends on the role you are evidencing, not the price. Level 5 is pitched at operational and middle managers and sits a level higher on the RQF, so it is the right spend if you already lead through other people or across functions; if you are a team leader or new manager, Level 3 evidence will be far easier to produce and the qualification will still be recognised.
Can I pay in instalments?
Klarna and Clearpay are selectable at checkout, giving three or four interest-free instalments. Availability depends on the pathway price and on Klarna or Clearpay's own eligibility checks.
