1. Operator and scope
VQ Solutions Ltd operates Leader Study Pro and is the operator and controller for this Cookie Policy. Our registered office is Osborne House, 20 Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, HG1 5QY.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, understand how you use the site, and improve your experience. Some cookies are essential for the site to function; others help us analyse usage or deliver relevant content.
3. How We Use Cookies
Leader Study Pro relies on essential authentication, session, security and consent mechanisms. With your permission, we also use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use the public site. If we embed YouTube videos, YouTube may use cookies or similar technologies when video content is loaded or played. The consent banner provides controls for optional categories.
Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to function correctly. They enable core features such as user authentication, security, and session management. You cannot opt out of essential cookies as the Platform cannot operate without them.
The lsp_cookie_consent value is stored in localStorage, not as a cookie. It records your consent choices and persists until you clear local storage for this site or otherwise remove it.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Neon Auth essential cookies | Authentication, session and security mechanisms | Managed by Neon Auth; names and lifetimes vary |
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics only where analytics consent has been given. Plausible is designed to provide aggregate website analytics without cross-site advertising profiles. The analytics script is not loaded unless analytics consent is enabled.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Plausible Analytics script | Aggregate public-site usage analytics | Loaded only where analytics consent is enabled |
Marketing and Embedded Media
We do not currently use advertising pixels for Google Ads, Meta or similar ad platforms. We may embed YouTube videos for course overviews, tutor introductions or testimonials. YouTube may process usage information when embedded media is loaded or played. Where possible, we will use privacy-enhanced embedding and avoid loading non-essential media until the relevant preference has been accepted.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube embedded media | Video playback and related embedded media functionality | Managed by YouTube/Google when content is loaded or played |
4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
When you first visit our Platform, a cookie consent banner will appear allowing you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customise your preferences by category.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site (which will trigger the consent banner to reappear) or by adjusting your browser settings.
5. Browser-Level Controls
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them individually.
- Block third-party cookies.
- Block cookies from specific sites.
- Block all cookies.
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser.
Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Platform from functioning correctly.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Stripe may process payment information when you choose to enrol. Plausible may process analytics information where you have consented. YouTube may process information if embedded videos are loaded or played. Cloudflare may process technical information for DNS, CDN, security or traffic protection where enabled. We do not currently embed Google Analytics, Google Ads or Meta advertising pixels. Provider information is available from:
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of cookies or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The “last updated” date above indicates when this policy was last revised.
8. Contact Us
